Finally the DO NO CALL List has Landed in Canada - Tad Slow CRTC?
Well folks moving into a house has kept me from keeping everyone updated on the latest in the MMA world but I will soon be back in full force.
What has sparked me to celebrate on spaceballs.ca is the implementation of the Canadian National Do Not Call List. I believe our Yankee neighbours have had it for years now but I have to blame the CRTC for dragging their feet.
So to be added to the "I'm watching hockey and your bothering me with your stupid telemarketing pitch" list goto https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/ and register. I would recommend doing this in the evening. I noticed that the website was slow during the work hours,
As reported by the CBC the CRTC was hit with 1562 calls per minute. Way to go folks! Glad we are finally making the CRTC work.
Remember the registeration is only good until 2011! It will also take 31 days for it to be activated!
